France and Real Madrid’s striker, Kylian Mbappe, recently spoke about Cristiano Ronaldo in an interview with BeIN Sports about how he wishes to play alongside the legendary Portuguese footballer.
Mbappe has had the privilege of playing alongside football greats such as Messi, Neymar, Greizman, Pogba, Benzema, and others. Playing alongside CR7 would fulfill his bucket list.
He said, “I’ve played with great players: Lionel Messi, Neymar, [Antoine] Griezmann, [Paul] Pogba, [Karim] Benzema.
“It would have been fun to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s going to be very difficult now, but I was fortunate enough to play against him—a true legend of the sport.”
Ronaldo played a total of 438 games for Real Madrid, scoring 450 goals and assisting on 131 goals for other teammates. This stat makes him the club’s all-time leading goalscorer. Mbappe has yet to achieve this feat since he joined the Spanish giants on July 1, 2024.
He has played 15 matches so far, scored 9 goals, and delivered just one assist.
There are high hopes for Mbappe at Real Madrid, with a lot of expectations on him to deliver his value just like his predecessors.
